We offer a full, flexible line of both traditional classroom courses and “blended learning” courses in CPR, AED, and first aid. While classroom-based training features group interaction and coaching from an instructor in a classroom setting, blended learning includes a self-directed portion followed by a hands-on practice session and/or test with an American Heart Association instructor.

HeartSaver CPR and AED
Audience: Student in need of certification in Adult/Child CPR and AED in the workplace. Training compliant with Federal AED Good Samaritan laws. Contact hours: 2.5 – 3.5 hours

The Heartsaver AED Course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and use of an AED. Child AED and infant/child CPR may be taught if students live or work in a setting where children are present. Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR and give first aid for choking in the responsive victim. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of 3 major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, and choking.

HeartSaver First Aid
Audience: Student in need of certification in First Aid for the workplace. Training compliant with Federal Government requirements and Contact hours: 3.5 hours

The HeartSaver First Aid course teaches the basic techniques of Medical Emergencies, Triage, Trauma splinting, Bleeding management, Blood Borne Pathogens, EPI pen and additional environment modules upon request ( additional time is needed to be blocked for extra modules). Students will have instructor lead hands-on practice.

HeartSaver First Aid With CPR and AED
Audience: Student in need of certification in Adult/Child CPR/AED and First Aid in the workplace. Training compliant with Federal AED Good Samaritan laws. Contact hours: 6.5 – 7.5 hours

This course combines all of the above class into one. This class can be provided in one or divided into two or three sessions to work around workplace schedules.

Blood Borne Pathogens Module (BBP)
Audience: Students in need of certification for workplace BBP requirements. Module can be added to your course for small fee. Student will receive a textbook and course completion card. Contact hours: 1 hour
